"Jesus replied, 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind' This is the first and greatest commandment And the second is like it: 'Love your Neighbor as yourself'" - Matthew 22:37-39
Goal of the Ministry
The goal of INTENTIONAL 5 (I-5) is to equip, prepare and ignite the hearts of 5th Graders so they become intentional about loving God and loving others during the pivitol year between elementary and middle school.
What we do
In 1-5 we focus on getting them plugged into to each other and the church body. We do this through events just for 5th graders, including a hayride, sleepover (boys and girls seperate), Christmas service project, Jumpstreet, and more!! We also have guest speakers from the church body who come and speak to them which allows them to learn biblical truth from a variety of different people. Plus, each 5th grader who attends regularly will have a Secret Prayer Partner from the church who commits to praying for them and writing encouraging letters to them once a month.
Ultimately, I-5 is a place where kids learn how to love the Lord and love each other!!
Sign up for I-5 SIzzlin' Summer Here
A night of food and fun for 5th graders and parents. We will meet at the church pavilion, eat together, and then have a friendly game of kickball (I-5 v. parents). Entree and drinks will be provided. Each I-5 family should bring a side dish to share. Even though this event is free (and on a Wednesday), you still have to register so we will be able to provide enough food. Siblings are welcome to come eat, but the kickball game will be I-5 kids vs. parents! Siblings will need to attend their age-graded programs at 6:15 p.m.
Time: 5:45 - 7:30 pm
