Matthew 19:1-12

In 2004, 30% of the general population in America SUPPORTED same-sex marriage. TODAY, it receives 50% support
During that same time frame, 16% of CHURCH attenders supported same-sex marriage in 2004, but 32% supported it in 2012
71% of the general population in 1994 believed that HOMOSEXUAL SEX was wrong. That figure dropped to 49% in 2012

83% of CHURCH attenders believed it wrong in 1994, down to 71% in 2012
In 1994, 36% of the general population believed that PREMARITAL sex was wrong, & only 27% in 2012
58% of CHURCH attenders believed it wrong in 1994, & 52% in 2014

In 1994, 58% of the general population believed that LIVING TOGETHER before marriage was OKAY. That number rose to 70% in 2012.
37% of CHURCH attenders felt that living together before marriage was okay, & the number rose to 45% in 2012

Marriage is a DIVINE institution
Marriage is a PHYSICAL union: “one flesh.”
Marriage is a PERMANENT union, broken ONLY by SEXUAL SIN or DEATH
Marriage is a union between ONE MAN & ONE WOMAN
