Matthew 25:31-46

God recognizes all sin, and He punishes all sin.
Numb. 32:23: “Be sure your sin will find you out.”
Rom. 1:18: “the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men.”
Heb. 12:7: “God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline?”

The Setting of Judgment: vs.31-32a

The Judge: v.31.
John 5:22: “not even the Father judges anyone, but He has given all judgment to the Son, in order that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father.”

The Time: v.31a
2 Thess. 1:7-8: “the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels in flaming fire, dealing out retribution to those who do not know God and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.”
Col. 3:4: “When Christ, who is your life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.”

The Place: v.31b
